Programme Outcomes

• PO1: Engineering Knowledge: Apply knowledge of mathematics, natural science, computing, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization as specified in WK1 to WK4 respectively to develop to the solution of complex engineering problems.
• PO2: Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions with consideration for sustainable development. (WK1 to WK4)

Bhumika Naik, Naziya Mulla and Varsha Hampali of Eight semester have been conferred the Best Paper Award at the 2^nd International Conference on Innovations in Sustainable and Digital Construction Practices (ISDCP)–2026 organized by Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, on 5^th and 6^th February 2026. C., Pavan S. and Rahul Kumar J. of Sixth semester had participated in the prestigious event City finale round, Bengaluru of -'Bharat NavNirmaan Challenge ', organized by NICMAR in collaboration with The Times of India and sponsored by AICTE, on 26^th February, 2026. The team presented an innovative project titled “Carbon-Sequester –Carbon Sequestration for Circular Economy. They were mentored by Mr. K. V. R. Prasad, Associate Professor.

The department organized a field visit to the Men’s Hostel Unit–7, Sir MVIT, Bengaluru on 8th September 2025 to observe the concrete laying process. A total of 42 students from fifth semester participated in the visit.
