PLACEMENT UPDATE DURING CORONA CRISIS/LOCK DOWN SITUATION
We Wish to update with extreme satisfaction that despite acute CORONA crisis and lock down scenario, we could manage to place 88% students of the current senior batch till 15th March-2020. This is an amazing achievement on placement front in such an unprecedented crisis time. Unfortunately 10 companies which were slated to visit between 18th March 2020 to 15th APRIL 2020, could not visit because of corona crisis and closure of college after lock down. This included many BIO TECH and CIVIL companies which could have picked up good number of students like previous years. Despite this we could achieve very respectable position. Because of our systematic planning, effective and constant interaction and deliberation with the corporate world, we could get 591 offers to our students in such a bad time. Our day night efforts in building fruitful and long term relation between our premier Engineering college and the esteemed companies and the performance of our talented students after joining the company helped us at this critical juncture to sail through the unprecedented crisis.
