In addition, the institute conducts N. Narayana Raju Memorial State Level Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament and Prof. B. Basavaraj Trophy State Level Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament for staff.

The
sports facilities provided in the Institute rank amongst the best in
the State. The Department of Physical Education has the necessary infrastructure
for various physical education activities. The Institute Sports Complex
that is spread over an area of 30 acres has different play fields all
of regulation size.
The
Institute is planning to have a Hockey and a Handball court too.
The Indoor Sports Complex of the institute
consists of two badminton courts and other indoor games like Table Tennis,
Carom, Chess. In addition to this,
12-station multi-gym has been installed. Some other equipments like
Cycling, Jogger etc. have been installed at Ladies hostel.
