Trust Office, Sri KETThe Trust was registered on 14th October, 1985 and started working towards the establishment of an engineering college named after Sir M. Visvesvaraya with a motivation to provide excellent technical education and develop a disciplined and integrated personality of students.

The Trust started the College with an intake of 120 in a small building near the Trust office in the Bangalore Palace grounds in the year 1986. The College was shifted during 1990 to a spacious campus of about 135 acres situated about 23 km from the city of Bangalore. When the College started, the whole land looked barren with no proper roads, electricity, water supply etc. Within a span of 10 years, the Campus has become fully developed with asphalted roads, good water supply, with its own power generation and permanent buildings. The present intake of the institute is 540.

In conformity with its mission, the Trust also started a Dental College named after Sri Krishnadevaraya (Sri Krishnadevaraya College Dental Sciences) during 1992 with an intake of about 40 students.
