Under Graduate Courses
B.E - The candidate should have passed 2nd PUC or 12th Standard or 10+2 or equivalent examination (Qualifying Examination) with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics as optional subjects and with English as one of the languages of study, and should have obtained at least 45% marks(40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category of Karnataka) in the above subjects taken together.
For engineering admission in Bangalore through management quota in Sir MVIT, the minimum percentage of marks expected is 60% as per the norms of the management.
The candidates satisfying the above criterion can apply through:-- KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) KCET, Diploma CET (KEA) | AICTE J&K
- COMED-K (Consortium Of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka): Conducts a separate entrance test for seats under management quota. The admission under management quota is processed in our Sri Krishnadevaraya Trust office located in 16, Ballary Road, Bengaluru. Sri KET Educational Trust advertises regarding the admission and the application forms are issued to the aspirants in the month of June / July of every year.
Post Graduate Courses
M.Tech - Candidates who have passed Bachelor Degree or equivalent degree in the relevant field with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category of Karnataka) in degree and also who have appeared PGCET/GATE.
MBA - Candidates who have passed Any Degree from a Recognised University with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category of Karnataka) in degree and also who have appeared PGCET/CMAT/KMAT.
MCA - Candidates who have passed Any Degree from a Recognised University with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category of Karnataka) in degree and also who have appeared PGCET/KMAT.
(PUC or 10+2 marks card if the candidate who have not studied Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics at degree level)
