The R & D Centre of the department offers project to Post Graduate students in the area of Power Electronics and Power Systems.

1. Two day workshop on "Finalization of draft syllabus of B.E. Course in Electrical and Electronics Engg, (V to VIII Semesters) held on 19th and 20th May 2008.
2. Four day workshop on PIC Microcontroller 16F was organized for the dept. staff during February -March 2009.

1. A four day workshop on “PIC Microcontroller 16F” was organized for the students of 5TH Semester during August September 2008.
2. A four day workshop on “Hands on experience training programme for assembling and testing Printed Circuit boards for analog electronics circuit’s experimental modules” was held for the 3rd Semester students during Aug-Sep 2009.

Mr.N.Bhushan (1MV05EE034), 7th semester B.E.(EE) student has been invited to the 3rd International Solar Energy Society,-Asia Pacific region conference (ISES-AP-08) along -with 46th Australia New Zealand Solar Energy Society (ANZSES) at Sydney,Australia held on 26th-28th November 2008 to present a paper entitled "Design, Simulation and Integration of Power Grids".
A paper entitled "Advent Technologies in Solar Power Modules" has been presented by Prof. M.V.Bhaskara Rao and Agasthya Ayachit, VII Sem B.E.(EE) at 96th Indian Science Congress conference at North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Shillong, Meghalaya on 3rd 7th January 2009.
