Activities of E-Cell from Aug. 2008 to Jan. 2009



1. Sri S. Satish Chandra, Chief Coordinator, E-Cell was certified as an “Entrepreneurship Educator” by Stanford University, IIMB and NEN

2. A Seminar on “Masters of Information Technology in Mainframe Computing” by Dr. Murray Woods representing University of Canberra, Australia was organized for Students of final year CSE and ISE on 13th Aug. 2008

3. A Seminar on “OPPTY EVALUATION” and “IDEA GENERATION” by Mr. Vinod Shastri Evangelist, National Entrepreneurship Network was organized for students of V Sem EEE on 24th Sep, 2008

4. A Seminar on “INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT FOR STARTING A SMALL SCALE INDUSTRY” by Sri D. S. Vishwanath, Director, Infrastructure Development Department, Govt. of Karnataka was organized in association with Vidyuth forum of Electrical Engg. for students of V Sem Civil, EEE and Mech. Engg. on 11th Nov., 2008

5. A Business Strategy development game was organized for Students of I sem MBA and V Sem EEE on 11th Nov., 2008

6. Sri S. Satish Chandra, Chief Coordinator and Sri Joel, Coordinator of E-Cell attended “TiE-Summit – 2008” held at Hotel Lalith Ashok , Bangalore from 16th – 18th Dec. 2008

7. E – WEEK INDIA 2009 was celebrated from 7-14 Feb.2009.
